Refund Policy

1. General Principle on Premature Termination

In the event of premature termination of the advisory services by either the Client or the Investment Adviser, the Client shall be entitled to a refund of the Advisory Fees paid in advance for the unexpired period of the term, calculated on a pro-rata basis.

From the amount otherwise refundable, the Investment Adviser shall be entitled to retain:

  • Fees attributable to the advisory services actually rendered up to the effective date of termination.
  • A breakage fee not exceeding the fees for one (1) quarter of service.

For the avoidance of doubt, the breakage fee is a maximum cap and not a minimum, and in no case shall the Investment Adviser retain fees beyond the sum of (a) and (b) above.

2. Plan-Specific Application

One-Time Plan

Refund shall only be available to clients who have not availed advisory services under the One-Time Plan, whether in whole or in part.

Quarterly Plan / Semi-Annual Plan / Annual Plan

In the event of termination of the advisory services by the Client prior to the expiry of the tenure, any refund (if applicable) shall be determined on a pro-rata basis, after deducting fees attributable to the services rendered up to the effective date of termination.

3. Death of the Client

In the event of the death of the Client, the agreement shall stand terminated. The Advisory Fees, if any, paid in advance for the unexpired period shall be refunded to the legal heirs or estate of the Client on a pro-rata basis, after deducting fees for services rendered and the breakage fee under Clause 1.

The legal heirs shall not be liable to pay any fees for the remaining period of the agreement.

4. Mode and Timeline of Refund

Any refund due under this Policy shall be made within 30 days of the effective date of termination, through the same banking channel through which the fee was originally received or such other mode as may be permitted by SEBI.

No refund shall be made in cash.

5. Governing Regulations

This Policy is framed in accordance with the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013 (as amended) and the circulars and Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) issued by SEBI thereunder, and shall be read in conformity with the same. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and applicable SEBI regulations, the SEBI regulations shall prevail.

Important Notes

  • All refund amounts are calculated on the base Advisory Fees paid, excluding GST.
  • GST (Goods and Services Tax) paid at the time of purchase is non-refundable.
  • The refund period is calculated from the effective date of termination.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to our customer service team at advisory@onecenturion.in.
  • Refunds will be processed within 15–30 business days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during the purchase.
